Some CRI boats with hardtops ship without speakers for various reasons, but it is possible to add an aftermarket stereo. In almost every case whereby a boat ships without a factory-installed stereo the hardtop will have cover speaker cut outs. Using a screwdriver, an owner can simply remove the covers and run the needed wiring down the legs of the hardtop into the overhead box and/or to the console panel.
